VALLEY CITY (NewsDakota.com)–Amber Glatt, a Valley City woman reported missing on July 4th, is with law enforcement authorities in Arizona, according to Valley City Police Department officials.
During a news conference on Tuesday, Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson said that Glatt was safe in Arizona and her mother is with her now.
Thompson said Glatt was picked up by some friends after he vehicle suffered a flat tire in the north rim of the Grand Canyon on Monday.
Thompson said, there’s no word yet if or when Glatt will return to Valley City.
Glatt suffers from recurring amnesia, and was reported missing by her boyfriend last week. The Chesapeake, VA native called her mother in her home state last night, informing her she had been picked up by some friends in Grand Canyon National Park after her vehicle’s tire went flat.
