(NewsDakota.com) – A new frozen yogurt store appears to be coming to Jamestown.

On Monday, the Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation board approved a Flex Pace interest buy down for a proposed Cherry Berry. The store is a self-service frozen yogurt franchise featuring numerous flavors and toppings. JSDC office coordinator DeAnn Brunner says the chain already has 10 locations in North Dakota and about 140 locations total.

The proposed business would also include a coffee shop and a sandwich shop, and would be located in the current Sara Lee Bakery Building at 2502 6th Avenue Southwest. The company KSSG3 would operate the franchise, and hopes to have it open by late September.

In a Flex Pace interest buy down, the JSDC’s money is repaid after the principle of the loan is paid off.

Brunner says KSSG3 already owns the Super 8 Motel and a few other businesses in Jamestown.
