Berg Leads Heitkamp in a North Dakota U-S Senate Race Poll

FARGO, ND (NewsDakota.com)  A new Rasmussen Reports poll shows Republican Rick Berg leading Democrat Heidi Heitkamp 49% to 40%.  The survey of 500 likely voters in North Dakota was conducted July 10-11.

In June, a poll gave Heitkamp a one point percentage lead over Berg. In that survey Heitkamp was leading Berg 47% to 46%.

    One thing that really bothers me is the large number of inaccurate or unreliable polls floating around. Some time ago there was a Bloomberg poll showing Obama 13 points ahead
    of Romney. Other polls could not verify such a large lead for Obama. The Rasmussen and
    PPP polls have both come under fire for being biased. You really don’t know what to believe
    as to where a given race stands.
