N.D. (NewsDakota.com) More than 300,000 people are expected to attend the annual State Fair after flooding canceled the event last year.
Manager Renae Korslien tells us that the spirit of the North Dakota State Fair is live and well. She says you can see it in the excitement of the vendors as they set up for the great North Dakota get together for the first time in two years.
A number of free events are available daily like the Swampmaster Alligator Show, Kids Kingdom, Cock-A-Doodle Zoo & Milk a Cow, Daryl’s Racing Pigs, Welde’s Big Bear Show, Fur Traders Rendezvous and the North Dakota Game & Fish Department’s Outdoors skills park for kids and adults to cast off a line in the improved fishing pond.
The North Dakota State Fair offers a lot of fun activities for the entire family to see and participate in during the 9 day run in Minot.
“Kid Rock’ with special guest “Uncle Kracker” take Grandstand stage Friday night at 8pm and the “Zac Brown Band” will pump out some positive energy on Saturday night at 8pm. Congratulations to Bonnie Wieck, Nancy Shea and Kari Sauer all of Valley City for winning tickets to see “Zac Brown” on Saturday.
