(NewsDakota.com)- The 2012 State Legion Tournament will open up tomorrow in Mandan with Jamestown playing in the first game. They will battle #9-seed Dickinson in the opening round.

The teams split their season series in games played on June 8th in Dickinson. Jamestown took the first game behind a combined shutout from Kasey Gengler and Danny Fischer. In the second game, Post 14 managed just four hits against Dickinson’s Aaron Berg who won the ballgame 5-1.

The two teams will meet again tomorrow morning in Mandan with the first pitch scheduled for 11am. Jamestown is the tournament’s #8-seed. The winner will play top-seed Fargo.

The game, and any other Jamestown games, will be broadcasted live on KQDJ-AM 1400/97.1 FM and streamed on NewsDakota.com.
