I-94 crash in southeast ND spills oil into median

CASSELTON, N.D. (AP) – A crash on Interstate 94 involving a semitrailer and an oil tanker sent both drivers to the hospital and spilled at least 200 gallons of oil. The Highway Patrol says neither driver suffered critical injuries in the Thursday afternoon crash near Casselton in southeastern North Dakota. Authorities are still investigating what led to the crash. Officials say the low-grade oil that spilled in the median was not hazardous. One lane of traffic was closed in each direction while the spill was cleaned up.

i’m really surprised no one was seriously hurt as we drove by the crash minutes after and it did’nt look good for the drivers….god bles!!!!

I can say that the driver of the tanker that got rolled is not in top shape now, but is doing amazing considering the severity of the crash. I hope the hospital was able to figure out and treat whatever caused the other driver to lose consciousness.
