(NewsDakota.com)- A rough first half put the Jamestown Blue Jays behind the eight ball early as the Grand Forks Roughriders rolled to a 26-0 win Friday night in high school football action.

The Blue Jays had a fake punt touchdown called back for an illegal procedure and missed a field goal at the 1-yard line in the first 14 minutes.

Red River took advantage of great field position to jump out to a 14-0 lead at half on a pair of touchdown runs by Connor Dingle.

Jamestown falls to 0-2 on the season. They will be on the road at Mandan next Friday.
