CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner volleyball team ventures to Fargo tonight for their first road Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) contest, facing the Fargo Davies Eagles.

Davies is 3-0 in EDC play, having swept Wahpeton, Devils Lake, and Grand Forks Central to start conference play.  They are 8-2 overall, with their lone losses to Minot and Jamestown in the East-West Crossover to start the season.

The Eagles continue to front big lineups, led by middles Emily Woodbridge and Brook Hildre, at 6’1″ and 6’0, respectfully, along with five more players at 5’10”.

Valley City is 1-7 overall, 0-2 in EDC play after the loss of a two-point conference match to Fargo Shanley 3-0 Tuesday.  Shanley is also 3-0 in league play.

Matchtime is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.  Pregame coverage will begin at 6:35 p.m. on Dakota Country–KOVC.
