(NewsDakota.com)  It was the first AA East game for both teams this year, and the Squirrels came out on top 18-6.  Central Cass improves to 2-1, Griggs Barnes County drops to 0-3.

The Titans drew first blood with six minutes remaining in the first quarter, Tim Erker passed to Brad Clemens for a 40 yard touchdown pass.  The extra point was no good making it 6-0.  Then with two minutes remaining in the first still, the Squirrels completed a touchdown pass of their own, it was QB Kyle Schultz to Matt Scheer for a 10 yard touchdown pass, extra point was no good making it 6-6. 

Then in the second, it was Thomas Carvell with a 2 yard touchdown run making it 12-6.  The last score of the game was with five minutes remaining in the third quarter, Carvell took it in again making it 18-6.  The Squirrels went for 2 but didn’t get it in.

Next up for the Titans is Valley City in Wimbledon, its also Barnes County North Homecoming Friday September 14th at 7pm.  That game can be heard on FM 103.1 The Raven.
