(NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Department of Transportation has announced they will host a public information meeting on Tuesday September 25 from 5-7 p.m. at the the EMS building in Gwinner, located at 4 First Street Southeast, to dicuss proposed improvments to a section of State Highway 13.

The stretch of the highway ranges from the south junction of ND Highway 1 going east, running through Gwinner, and ending on the west junction of ND Highway 32.

The department says the part of the project that does not run through Gwinner will consist of a mill and hot bituminous pavement overlay, subcut, pipe replacements, widening and riprap. The section that runs through Gwinner will see the overlay, as well as ADA ramps and sidewalk repair.

Representatives from the department will be on hand to answer any questions, as the event is planned as an open house format.
