N.D. (AP) – Residents within the Bismarck School District are deciding whether to approve an $86.5 million bond issue to build three new schools.

If voters approve the measure in Tuesday’s special election, Bismarck and nearby Lincoln each would get a new elementary school and Bismarck would get another high school.

School district officials are pushing for the new facilities because of crowding problems and anticipated enrollment growth.
