(NewsDakota.com) – About two-thirds of North Dakota is included in a freeze warning issued by the National Weather Service for Saturday morning.

The freeze warning is in effect from 1 a.m. to 10 a.m. Stutsman, Foster, LaMoure and Dickey County are the far eastern edge of the freeze warning.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the mid to upper 20s in parts of central North Dakota, resulting in a killing freeze for plants and crops. It is projected to be the first hard freeze of the season.
