(NewsDakota.com)- The Jimmies opened the AII Jamboree last night with a pair of victories, including a dramatic come-from-behind win to beat SD Mines. Jamestown College trailed 2-1 in the match, before rallying to upend the Lady Hardrockers.

They also beat Valley City St. for the second time this season with a 3-0 victory. It was the 11th win on the season for Coach Jon Hegerle’s squad, 25-23, 25-11, 25-23 over the Vikings.

Katie Zent and Sarah Becker led the way with 10 and nine kills respectively. Becker’s attack percentage was 81.8%. 

After dropping two of the first three sets to SD Mines, the Jimmies came storming back to win the final two. Taking the fourth game. 25-20 and winning a decisive fifth set 18-16.

Becker found her way to the top of the kill list with 17. Kaitlyn Rogalla finished with 14.

Jamestown college goes to 12-2 on the season. They will play Ashford University this morning and then Mayville St. this afternoon.
