(NewsDakota.com)- How things can change in a week. The Blue Jay volleyball team was coming off a five-match losing streak and staring a week that featured, at Bismarck High, vs. St. Mary’s and at Williston, but they didn’t drop a set on their way to a 3-0 week.

Jamestown made the long road trip to Williston and came out with a straight set win. They won the first set 25-15 and never looked back, not allowing the Coyotes to reach 20 points. Set two went to the Jays 25-11 and the third 25-19. Playing in what Coach Sara Hegerle described as a hostile environment where the fans “are right on the floor,” Jamestown rolled.

The Blue Jays are currently 3rd in the WDA with their only in Region losses coming to the teams that sit above them, Century and Dickinson. You can view the full standings here.

Jamestown will host Mandan tomorrow, that match will be broadcasted live on KQDJ-AM 1400, before heading to Minot on Friday.
