Fairmount Student Who Shot Himself May be Expelled Once He Recovers

FAIRMOUNT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Student who shot himself in the face in a classroom at the school in Fairmount maybe expelled once he recovers.

Superintendent Ron Stahlecker says while there’s strong support for the boy and his family, bringing a gun to school is not something to take lightly.

The freshman pulled the trigger of a handgun in front of a teacher and other students. The boy is expected to recover from his gunshot wound.

    seems to me expelling this boy is probly not the answer. supporting him and getting him the counsling and treatment he needs along with adressing the issues that pushed him to this point would be a better course of action.

    I think the author meant “may be expelled” not “maybe expelled”. It humors me to see those in journalism not know proper English.
