JAMESTOWN (NewsDakota.com)- Over the next two weeks the Blue Jay volleyball team has a chance to win their first ever West Region regular season title and secure the top-seed in the WDA tournament.
The next four matches will consist of three of the WDA’s top-four teams, the fourth team being Jamestown. Tonight’s match up with Dickinson will be a chance for the Jays to revenge their last WDA loss, a five-setter back on September 13th.
The other three teams on the schedule; Bismarck High (October 23), Century (October 25), and Mandan (October 30). Century is currently the No. 1 team in the West while Bismarck High is third (with one more loss than No. 4 Dickinson).
The West Region tournament will begin on November 8th in Mandan and run through the weekend.
The Jays have won 21 WDA sets in a row. Game tonight against Dickinson will be broadcast on KQDJ-AM 1400 and streamed online at NewsDakota.com.
