VALLEY CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown College and Valley City State volleyball teams are both officially into the postseason.
Jamestown College is the No. 2 seed and VCSU the No. 6 seed for the A.I.I. Tournament Nov. 9-10 in Mayville. The final Independent rankings were released on Monday. VCSU earned the final spot in the tournament, thank in large part to a sweep of Dakota State on Friday night.
VCSU (14-20) and Jamestown College (23-6) will be in a pool play bracket with No. 3 seed Ashford, Iowa. The top two teams from the six-team A.I.I. Tournament advance to the National Tournament.
California State University-San Marcos is the top seed, followed by Jamestown College, Ashford, La Sierra, Mayville State and VCSU.

9 a.m. – La Sierra vs. Mayville State
11 a.m. – Ashford vs. Valley City State
1 p.m. – Cal State-San Marcos vs. La Sierra
3 p.m. – Jamestown vs. Valley City State
5 p.m. – Cal State-San Marcos vs. Mayville State
7 p.m. – Jamestown vs. Ashford
Saturday, Nov. 10
3:30 p.m. – Semifinal No. 1
5:30 p.m. – Semifinal No. 2
7:30 p.m. – Championship Game
