(NewsDakota.com)- The Blue Jays are on their way to the state volleyball tournament where there first round opponent will be West Fargo. Jamestown finished second in the West Region after falling in straight sets to Bismarck Century on Saturday.

The 2012 North Dakota Class A & B Volleyball tournament will be held at the Minot State Dome in Minot.

Jamestown will play in the second match on Thursday in the Class A side preceded by Grand Forks Red River and Bismarck High. The following are the quarterfinal matches set for Thursday:

 

Class A pairings:

  • 12:00pm- (1E) GF Red River vs. (4W) Bismarck
  • 2:00pm- (2W) Jamestown vs. (3E) West Fargo
  • 6:00pm- (1W) Century vs. (4W) Fargo Davies
  • 8:00pm- (2E) Fargo Shanley vs. (3W) Dickinson

 

Class B pairings:

  • 12:00pm- Linton-HMB vs. Dickinson Trinity
  • 2:00pm- Kindred vs. Flasher
  • 6:00pm- Park River-Fortville-Lankin vs. Ray
  • 8:00pm- Langdon vs. Minot Our Redeemers 

 

The Jays quarterfinal match and any consolation matches will be aired on KQDJ-AM 1400.

The Class A semis will be aired on TED-FM 98.3/102.7. Full coverage off the Class B semis on Q101, KDDR, & KDAK.
