(NewsDakota.com) A pickup truck caught fire in the driveway of a residence on the north side of Oakes on Thursday evening.

The Oakes Fire, Police and Ambulance departments responded to a residence in the 1400 block of 7th Street North (North Dakota Highway 1) a little after 6 p.m on Thursday, and the fire was quickly extinguished.

The southbound lane of Highway 1 was temporary blocked as crews were on the scene, no injuries were reported.
