CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A 53-year-old woman faces domestic assault charges after she allegedly attempted to stab a Valley City man early this morning. Police were called to the 700 block of 2nd street southwest and arrested the woman shortly after 3am today.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old Bismarck man faces domestic assault charges after he allegedly threatened a woman and barricaded her inside a residence in the 200 block of 3rd avenue southeast last night around 11pm. Police arrested the man shortly after responding to the call in Valley City.
