N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Senior forward Jake Stillwell netted his seventh goal of the season, but the Jamestown High Blue Jays didn’t have enough firepower otherwise and fell to the Bismarck High Demons 4-2 Thursday night at John L. Wilson Arena.

The Demons (3-2) led 2-0 over the Jays (2-3) after the first period, including a domination of shots on goal (13 to 4) and face-offs won (11 to 3) during the opening 17 minutes.

Junior forward Jakobi Lux had the Jays’ other goal, a power play goal just like Stillwell’s, in the 3rd period.

Senior goaltender Tygh Yatskis saved 25 of 29 shots on goal in the defeat.

The Blue Jays will host Williston on Saturday afternoon with the opening puck drop set for 3:30 p.m.
