(NewsDakota.com) Add yet another honor for one of the best high school wrestling coaches in recent North Dakota history.

Already a winner of the North Dakota Class B Wrestling Coach Of The Year in 2006 and 2009, Oakes Head Coach Cory Schall has now been nominated by the National High School Athletic Coach’s Association for National Coach Of The Year in Wrestling.

The Enderlin High School and Valley City State graduate is the lone representative for the state of North Dakota in high school wrestling, and will vie for the honor with coaches from all other states. The winner will be chosen by a committee, and will be announced during the National Coaches Convention in July 2013.

Schall is entering his 10th season coaching Oakes, and has lead his teams to four State Class B Individual Championships, two State Class B Dual Team Championships and 17 Individual State Champions.
