N.D. (AP) – The state Department of Mineral Resources says North Dakota oil drillers produced a record 23.1 million barrels of oil in October.

The agency says oil producers pumped an average of about 747,000 barrels of oil each day in October. That’s up from about 729,000 barrels daily in September. There were 8,025 producing wells in October, up from 7,899 in September.
