CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A 32-year-old Valley City man charged with aggravated assault remains in the Barnes County jail on a ,000 cash bond according to Barnes County State’s Attorney Lee Grossman.

In the crime report, Abdiwahid Said allegedly struck another man using a piece of wood during an argument at a home in the 900 block of 3rd street southwest in Valley City on Saturday.

Grossman said the victim a 50-year-old Valley City man was seriously injured after he suffered multiple blows to the head. He was hospitalized treated and released.
