(NewsDakota.com) – Oak Grove won another district title and Maple Valley and Enderlin punched their tickets to regions during the final day of the District 2 Boys Basketball Tournament Tuesday at the Fargo Civic Center.

Oak Grove stayed had five players score in double figures as they remained undefeated against District 2 teams with an 87-77 win over Central Cass in the title game. The win gives the Grovers (20-2) both the regular season and postseason District 2 titles.

In region qualifying games, Maple Valley (17-4) got 19 points from James Richman and 17 from Brady Behm as they beat Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page 63-41.

Enderlin also advanced to the Region 1 Tournament behind a big game from Colton Huus, who scored 25 points in a 62-53 win against Richland. Enderlin’s Thomas Lindgren scored his 1,000th career points during the victory.

Oak Grove is the top seed from District 2 for the Region 1 Tournament Feb. 25, 26 and 28 at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. Central Cass is No. 2, Maple Valley is No. 3 and Enderlin is No. 4.
