Terry Ost, 64, of Jud, ND, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at his home near Jud.

     Terry Lee Ost was born on September 26, 1948, the son of Clarence and LuElla (Kinzler) Ost. He grew up on a farm near Nortonville, ND where he attended school until 1965 when the family moved to Jud. He graduated from Jud High School in 1966, and then he attended NDSU. Terry married Brenda Heasley in December of 1971, to which union were born two sons whom he loved very dearly. He worked at Western Gear in Jamestown and on various farms until he farmed on his own north of Jud. Terry also loved working for his brother, Kenneth, on the farm. He was very mechanical and enjoyed fabricating equipment. Terry was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in July 2009 and married Maryette Weixel on August 10, 2009.

     Terry is survived by his wife, Maryette, Jud; two sons, Jeremiah Ost, Jud and Joshua Ost, Jamestown; step-children, Cody Treasure, Jamestown and Walker Treasure, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Ost, Jud; and sister, Karen (Donald) Carlson, Edgeley, ND.

     He was preceded in death by his parents;

     Funeral Service: 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Jamestown, ND.

     Interment: St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Jud.
