(NewsDakota.com) It’s been a rough 2013 baseball season for the boys from LaMoure-Litchville/Marion. The Loboes have only had one win in Region I play, and are looking up at all but one team in the standings going into the final day of the regular season.

LLM won’t be able to catch any of the teams ahead of them, but with a win today against either Hankinson-Fairmount or Northern Cass, the Loboes will avoid being in the basement of the standings when the post-season starts on Friday. The 1-4 Loboes host Hankinson-Fairmount (0-6) first on Monday at 2 p.m. in the triangular, followed by Hankinson playing Northern Cass (6-2) around 4, and then the Jaguars and Loboes will round out the day around 6 p.m.

The Jaguars and Central Cass come in tied for first place in the region, so a win in either game by the Jags, or a Squirrel loss versus Kindred/Richland would lock up the #1 seed.

Coverage of the Loboe games in the triangular will start at 1:45 Monday on Q101.1 FM and NewsDakota.com.
