CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Police have major problems to deal with after criminal evidence was damaged by water on June 20 in the basement of the law enforcement center.

Torrential rain flooded the basement. Now police are trying to salvage what they can of the evidence. Police Chief Fred Thompson.

Thompson said officers will have to go through each piece of evidence to figure out what belongs to the active cases they are working on.
