CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) One week after a fire destroyed the inside of Faith Lutheran church in Valley City it’s members were busy painting their temporary home in a building owned by the Wagon Wheel Inn incorporated along Winter Show road.

Pastor Jolene Knutson-Hanse says the church has been blessed by the response of the community since the fire. She says a number of people have helped the church and several events have had to change their venue since the fire.

Meanwhile the investigation into the fire that was deliberately set in the early morning hours of October 21 continues, so far no arrests have been made in this act of arson according to law enforcement officials.
