CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A spokesman with the USDA says an accusation about an alleged incident with Pizza Corner pizza on October 23 was unsubstantiated.

Public Affairs Specialist for the USDA, Richard McIntire, told Valley News Live that, “There was no issue. We looked into an unfounded food safety concern.”

Pizza Corner’s general manager in Valley City says there is no problem with their pizzas, and they are perfectly safe to eat.

At least one grocery store (Hornbachers) in Fargo pulled their Pizza Corner brand pizza’s from their coolers after Valley News Live published a story they received from a Facebook message from someone blowing the whistle on Pizza Corner Pizza. The viewer was concerned about the product after hearing about an alleged incident at the factory in Valley City.
