N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Weather Service office in Bismarck has announced a winter weather advisory and freezing rain advisory for several counties in North Dakota.

Meteorologist Rich Kinney with the National Weather Service says it’s difficult to determine where the advisory will affect the most.

And because it’s a complex system, it’s still difficult to determine how much precipitation will occur and where it’ll happen the most.

But, Rich says it is possible for Jamestown to receive 6 or more inches of snow up through Wednesday and more is on the way according to Meterologist Dave Kellenbenz.

The National Weather Service urges travelers and motorists to stay informed.
