N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning Jamestown residents regarding a convicted sex offender that has been incarcerated and is doing work release within the city.

Ahmed Rashid Toliver has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee of the Office of the Attorney General. Mr. Toliver was charged with Gross Sexual Imposition when he and another male went to an apartment where two 14 year old girls were babysitting. Mr. Toliver had intercourse with both of the girls. The girls stated that Mr. Toliver forced them to comply. He was convicted in 2001 in Cass County District Court.

Ahmed Rashid Toliver is not wanted at this time and is currently serving his sentence. This is notification for public safety and is not meant to increase fear in the community. Should Mr. Toliver be threatened, assaulted or intimidated, it will be cause for prosecution.
