N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The new school funding formula that passed during the 2013 legislative session was suppose to make everybody happy because it reduced property taxes while still funding school districts by increasing the per pupil payment from ,000 to ,000.

The President of the North Dakota Superintendents Association Dean Koppelman says a number of administrators believe the funding formula needs to be adjusted as many are dealing with tight budgets.

Koppelman says school administrators from around the state will meet to address these issues next week in Bismarck. He says the plan is to give legislators an overview of the problems associated with the school funding formula before the 2015 legislative session.
