(NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals hosted No. 2 Four Winds/Minnewaukan yesterday in high school boys basketball for a make-up game, they lost 59-43.  Carrington drops to 2-4 in District 7 and 8-9 overall, the Indians improve to 6-0 in District 7 and 16-2 overall.

Leading the way for Carrington was Brady Smith with 13 points and six rebounds.  The Cardinals had 22 turnovers compared to four turnovers from Four Winds/Minnewaukan.  The Indians were led by Trayvon McKay with 15 followed by Hadley Smith with 14.  Four Winds/Minn. shot 39% from the field, they were 27/68.  Carrington was 19/43 for 44% from the field.

Next up for Carrington will be this Saturday night in Velva, tip-off is set for 7pm, this game can be heard right after the Carrington girls game on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.
