N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Nasty weather conditions in eastern North Dakota caused the Highway Patrol to close Interstate 94 from Valley City to Jamestown in both directions from approximately 4:30am until 8:00am. The roadway was closed because of visibility issues and vehicles blocking the traveled portion of the roadway according to Highway Patrol Captain Brian Niewind.

Troopers investigated thirteen Property Damage crashes between 3:00 am and 11:00 am region wide.  Two of these crashes occurred on the Red River Bridge, eastbound, at approximately 10:45 am.
