CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Another step to prevent suicide among junior and senior high students will be implemented in the Valley City School District thanks to a grant.

High School principal Kristi Brandt says the Signs of Suicide prevention program known as S.O.S. will hopefully help vulnerable teenagers.

The 72-hundred dollar grant will allow the school district to expand their health educational options for students in the district.

Brandt says the S.O.S. program will be in place by the new school year starting in July of 2014.
