CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Basin Electric Power Cooperative of Bismarck made a ,000 contribution toward the purchase of equipment for the Rhoades Science Center at Valley City State University.

Larry Robinson, executive director of the VCSU Foundation says “Their gift will be used to purchase state-of-the art equipment to enhance the learning experience of students at Valley City State.”

Rhoades Science Center recently underwent a $10.3 million renovation and expansion. It is home to the VCSU science and math programs, and the Great Plains STEM Education Center. The university’s technology services offices and facilities are also housed in the building, as is VCSU’s collaborative nursing program with Dakota College at Bottineau.
