N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Farmers Union will be hosting crop marketing meetings in surrounding cities to help producers improve their marketing skills.

Bret Oelke and Bill Craig, both University of Minnesota Extension educators, will share with producers the “ins and outs” of common marketing tools. Some things that will be covered include forward contracting, cash sales, futures and options.

On Thursday, March 27th, the first meeting will take place at Kenmare from 9 AM to noon at the Kenmare Theatre. On Friday, March 28th, the second meeting will be from 9 AM to noon at the AmericInn in Valley City. The public is invited to attend these meetings.
