N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Women Veteran’s Club is searching for ladies that are veterans.

Mary Holzworth, a local veteran, stated that the club had been meeting for roughly four to six months, but saw minimal numbers in their meetings. “We only had maybe two or three ladies that would come to the meetings. We haven’t met for a long time now, but I’ve been collecting names of women veterans in Stutsman County and have about 18.”

But, Mary is still looking for more. “Right now, I’m looking for more D-Day Women Veteran’s.” Holzworth stated.

The club will be holding a meeting on May 27th at 6 PM in the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center. Any women veteran’s in Stutsman County are invited to attend. The club will be meeting to discuss benefits, issues they’re having with the service and much more, but Mary Holzworth states that it really is up to the ladies what is discussed and how often they meet.

If you’re a woman veteran or know a woman veteran, especially one that served during D-Day, contact Mary at 701-251-1284 or email meholz@daktel.com.
