N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation has announced their donation of 0,000 over four years to the North Dakota State College of Science program.

The North Dakota State College of Science program (NDSCS) of Wahpeton has been in contact with Holly Miller of the JSDC to bring them in to help with Jamestown’s workforce needs. They’re calling it the Manufacturing Training Center. DeAnn Brunner with the JSDC explained what the center would bring to the Southeast portion of North Dakota.

The goal for the NDSCS program is to gain a pledge of $500,000. The Fargo-Moorhead Greater Economic Development Corporation has also pledged $100,000. Brunner stated that the biggest key to the program is the industry partnership. Without it, the program will not be successful.

Brunner also stated that if the program is successful, they will consider expanding to other portions of the state.
