(NewsDakota.com)  Carrington scores five runs on three hits and six walks in the fourth inning and comes from behind to beat the Pirates 6-5 in High School Baseball yesterday.  The Cardinals are 3-0 overall, Kidder County drops to 4-1 overall.  

Easton Paeper of Carrington threw five strong innings with eight strikeouts, three walks and was the winning pitcher.  Brett Lyman worked two innings of relief and allowed three runs.  The Cardinals had six hits total including two from Senior Patrick Freeman who went 2-for-4 at the plate scoring two runs.

Next up for Carrington will be on Monday in Binford against fellow Region 3 team Midkota (1-2).  This game was originally scheduled in Carrington but has been moved to Binford.  Listen around 3:45p for the pregame on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.
