N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Jamestown Police Department is asking anyone who financed a vehicle through Budget Auto to help with an investigation.

Sgt. Thomas Nagel says Budget Auto may be selling cars in violation of North Dakota Century Code.

Sgt. Nagel says the department is asking people who financed a vehicle through Budget Auto to call the police department to see if a violation has occurred.

Nagel tells newsdakota.com that the first complaint against the business was filed in December of 2013. He says more complaints against the dealership which is owned by Brian Hanson followed after the initial complaint.

So far, Nagel says no charges have been filed against Budget Auto as the case remains under investigation.
