N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With roughly $7,500 raised so far for the annual hanging flower baskets in Jamestown, the Jamestown Downtown Association is still looking for donations for people wanting a hanging flower basket.

According to the Association, the flower program costs about $11,000 yearly and donations are greatly needed. This year, the flowers will be Wave Petunias and are being planted by Don’s Garden Center of Jamestown. Carol McIlravy stated that the flowers this year are “absolutely beautiful”. The flower baskets are put up annually at around the beginning of the warmer months to help beautify the city.

To sponsor a light pole, the cost is $150 and can be donated by a business or individual. You can contact the Jamestown Downtown Association at 320-3015.
