N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota Governor Jack Dalyrmple has made the announcement that May 7th is School Nurse Day.

In a released proclamation, Governor Dalyrmple states that “school nurses are professional nurses that advance the well-being, health, academic success and life-long achievements of all students by providing a critical safety net. By investing in them today, we are helping ensure our world for tomorrow.”

Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 will be the first celebrated School Nurse Day in the state of North Dakota.
