N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Weather Service in Bismarck has announced that a large area of smoke in Canada is being carried into North Dakota.

Multiple fires in Canada have produced smoke that Northwest winds have brought into the state. Western and Central North Dakota skies will continue to look hazy throughout today. The conditions will begin to improve tonight when the winds shift towards the Southeast later tonight.

Jamestown continues to see a thin layer of smoke in the area with Bismarck and Dickinson seeing thicker smoke.
