N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – “It’s all I can do.”

That is the theme for 62 year-old David Kuhn, the man running over 11,000 miles to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis, a disease that hit’s very close to home. And there’s another part of this story that makes his journey that much more impressive.

David began his undertaking on May 15th, starting in Seattle, Washington and he plans to outskirt the entire country and end back in Seattle in a span of 18 months. David’s granddaughter Kylie, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 6. Cystic Fibrosis affects nearly 30,000 people in the U.S. and over 70,000 people worldwide and there is no cure.

Although Kuhn is blind, he makes due by asking members of each community he runs in to help guide him and show him the city.

David is currently running about 100 miles in Jamestown and plans to make his way to Fargo by Wednesday this week. If you know of a person that would be interested in being a guide or host for David Kuhn in the Fargo community, contact Nellie Degen at 701-320-5440.
