N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Bismarck National Weather Service has released their numbers of rainfall totals for the month of July.

The state saw some of the driest conditions in areas in the past 100 years. In Jamestown, .82 inches of rain were reported. That was 2.53 inches below normal and the 9th driest July since 1893. Jerry Bergquist, Emergency Manager for Stutsman County, stated that even though there wasn’t much rainfall, Jamestown stays ahead in the average rainfall for the year.

Other reports around the state show Bismarck had their 15th driest July since 1874, Minot had their 44th driest July since 1896 and Williston saw their 13th driest July since 1894.
