N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dakota Valley Electric and several members of electric co-ops around the country are participating in Operation Round Up, a program that gives grants to local organizations and individuals.

Those participating in the event voluntarily round up their electric bill to the next whole dollar, averaging 50 cents a month and raises about $20,000 every year. A board meeting was recently held with the co-op members to disburse the funds raised from this year.
